Hello Phoenix!

Our second group of travelers has arrived in Phoenix and are working our way towards Yuma for tonight for some much needed down time.

The day has had some challenges, but we are working as a team to overcome them and keep our spirits high! We trust that God has a plan for us on this mission he has bestowed upon us.

We are reminded that we are to set an example in all we do, thought, word and deed, so we will do our very best to honor God’s challenge in the midst of each new situation.

Thank you for your continued prayers of safe travels. Please also pray for health and energy to do what we have been called to in Arizona, as well as Mexicali!

Our bags are packed!

Our first group of Michigan travelers has arrived at the airport! Most of the Fanta family has left San Francisco and is headed to meet us in Yuma tomorrow. We are waiting for the last of us who will be staying at CRD for tonight.

May God bless our travels, no matter where we are coming from! We are grateful for all of your prayers, donations and support! Please continue to keep us all in your prayers as our adventure begins!

Is anybody out there?

Hello Friends, Family, Parents, Siblings and anyone else I may have missed!

Parents, you should have gotten your parent info at the close of the Mexican Dinner last Sunday. In it you should have found the instructions for accessing this blog!  This will be the main form of communication while we are in Mexicali, so be sure to figure out how to use it now.

Leave a comment so we know you’ve been checking it out!!

Goodnight!

After we crossed through the border we ran all of our errands, then started our way back to San Diego for the night. The team was amazing, just as they were in Mexico the rest of the week. We are now fed, showered and tucked into our beds. The first group leaves for the airport at 4:30am!

God has blessed us in so many ways this week, and through all the months of preparation.  We appreciate the prayers and request that you continue to pray as we have a long day of travel tomorrow to get us all home.

We pray that we will continue to be worthy representatives of Christ to everyone we encounter on our trip home. To God be the glory!

Barnababe Addie!

We have another Barnabas honoree! Congratulations to Addie Britz! She was recognized for making shoe laces form men at Refugio de Amor who didn’t have any. Stacy Boeberitz helped make the aglets to finish them off. Great job girls!!!!

Lunch at the soli church

Pastor Pedro and the invited the Jesus League and the the build team for lunch on Wednesday.  God is so amazing to have answered our prayer to connect our Soli friends and families to a local church. We are excited to see how God will bless them through these new relationships the other 51 weeks of the year!
