After we crossed through the border we ran all of our errands, then started our way back to San Diego for the night. The team was amazing, just as they were in Mexico the rest of the week. We are now fed, showered and tucked into our beds. The first group leaves for the airport at 4:30am!
God has blessed us in so many ways this week, and through all the months of preparation. We appreciate the prayers and request that you continue to pray as we have a long day of travel tomorrow to get us all home.
We pray that we will continue to be worthy representatives of Christ to everyone we encounter on our trip home. To God be the glory!

Camp Nurse Sandy and the shirt she sewed to make sure he had a team shirt.Chris and Nathaniel waking up the Octane Team each morning. This may look innocent, but don’t worry, Nathaniel was thrown into each tent each morning at 6:30 am to ensure that all were awake!!The boys loved this – but don’t worry, no one was allowed to drive it!
We have another Barnabas honoree! Congratulations to Addie Britz! She was recognized for making shoe laces form men at Refugio de Amor who didn’t have any. Stacy Boeberitz helped make the aglets to finish them off. Great job girls!!!!
Pastor Pedro and the invited the Jesus League and the the build team for lunch on Wednesday. God is so amazing to have answered our prayer to connect our Soli friends and families to a local church. We are excited to see how God will bless them through these new relationships the other 51 weeks of the year!
