Refugio was really fun. Some of us played soccer and basketball, and I colored with the men. I colored a few coloring sheets and gave them to a man named Emilio. All the men got to shower and put on new clothes and they were all excited about that. While we were coloring we sang some songs with the men. It was really fun, and all the men had a good time. It was really hard to leave though. Anna almost cried . They were all super grateful that we came.

I love seeing all the smiles, especially from the men at Refugio. It is clear how much they appreciate your companionship, care and just the fact that you are spending time with them.
